Metrics beyond eyeballs in the digital sphere

Always nice to see IRL evidence of the cultural impact some of the transformative work we do, and a clear demonstration of the prismatic influence contemporary youth culture has on the wider world.
The pioneering skate content we produced along with luminary Brian Lotti  which you can see on the top and right of the picture above has been parlayed into the set design and catwalk theme for Anya Hindmarch which you can see on the bottom left.

Bolts Club best trick app demonstrates its functionality with payout leaderboard

Rebuffing the millennial skepticism surrounding an app which genuinely pays out in cash for best tricks in an era when 'professionals' are being paid in shoes,
Bolts Club - the cash for tricks app which uses Pinpoint Archive technology to catalogue footage from any GPS location - has published a leaderboard of repeat winners so far.
The app uses geo-targeted advertising from $1 per day to fund payouts and in so doing harnesses the power of social media for a fraction of the cost.
The technology can be re-skinned for any activity.

Advertising apps via social media content aggregators - the death of editorialising?

Bolts Club, the cash-for-tricks app launched by Zelering Ltd is driving downloads for its closed-loop advertising model by collaborating with independent Instagram content aggregators with a conversion rate conventional media couldn't dream of.
When someone harvesting web clips in their bedroom has a social media footprint which dwarfs most of that of the "core media", do advertisers need mainstream media outlets anymore, given how much of their reach is now social-only?

The ollie is magic, pure and simple. No video game or web clip can or will ever reproduce the utterly mind-warping moment you first see a clean ollie popped in front of your eyes. It shouldn’t be possible, of course – appearing, as it does, to be an inversion of the laws of known physics whereby the thing underneath your feet leaps with you unattached and seemingly unbidden. The ollie in fact demonstrates Newton’s first and third laws – the pop of the tail produces a vertical bounce-back, instantly flattened out by a rolling front foot – but the technique is more art than science.

As such, it expresses a lot of what we might call character of physicality but more usually referred to by the unquantifiable catch-all term of ‘style’.

Sensible Answers East scored a big PR scoop for the Chilli Hills brand we created and launched in Bulgaria back in 2015 today when our own Alex Kyourkiev presented a half-hour segment on the product range on Bulgaria's top-rated morning show Coffee. After having partnered with Smart Organics and subsequently been picked up by the Kaufland supermarket chain, Chilli Hills opened its own flagship store in Sofia in 2018 and will launch internationally in 2019.

Working with Grimey Clothing to promote new Spanish skateboarding talent globally

We have been delighted to be able to work with our longtime friends and associate Jaime Fontecilla to promote the talents of some of the Grimey Wear roster on one of skateboarding's biggest international platforms today.
Stevie Culhane and Rafael Bocanegra both saw their clips go live across the world courtesy of paid social media boosts linking to their features on the Red Bull Skateboarding site which will see their exposure run to the tens of thousands, far eclipsing the reach of much of the 'core' media.
The game is changing!

European Skate Contest - Basel 2018: 1 million views

Summer 2018 saw the return of the once- dominant European Skate Contest to the otherwise sedate city of Basel after a 7- year break.
Commissioning and delivering on behalf of Red Bull Skateboarding, we were for the third time this summer the leading event coverage production, taking the spectacle to the eyeballs of 1M  people worldwide via social media.

CPHBER Highlights for Red Bull Skateboarding

Once again we have helped Red Bull lead the pack in event coverage by putting together another crack team to cover the CPHBER skate contest in Berlin.
With the professionalism and turnaround times to own the interest of the global online audience, this feature will be shared across Red Bull departments totalling a viewership which dwarfs those of all other media in attendance. In so doing we are helping to position the brand's platform as the go-to destination for the best event reports in the industry which has been reflected in the stratospheric growth of their audience numbers for skateboarding, a trajectory most other media can only dream of.

Promoting modern Morocco with Red Bull Skateboarding

With many thanks to Romain Duplantier from Atlas Skateboards and the super-talented Moroccan skater Nassim Lachhab for their help in organising this triple-header, with filming duties handled by the ever-excellent Sebastian Abes.
This pioneering content occupies a digital content space few other brands in the category can get anywhere near, and is reflected in the ratings accordingly.

Last weekend saw the 24th Mystic Cup go off in Prague.
An incredible event in one of the world's great cities, our definitive highlight edit was the portal through which most of the global viewership for this event goes,  logging up a stratospheric 1.1M views on Facebook alone, as our previous edits for Simple Session and CPH Open did too.

Chilli Hills appears in Forbes, goes on sale in Kaufland.

Chilli Hills, the gourmet condiment brand launched by Sensible Answers East has been featured in Forbes business magazine this month, going on sale by coincidence on the same day in which the brand was introduced to the shelves of the German supermarket giant Kaufland.
With a flagship store in Sofia, Bulgaria and plans to expand in the coming months, this success story is beginning to take on real momentum.

Introducing RealAd

Real Ad is a programmatic media exchange marketplace for print magazines. The Real Ad platform enables publishers to upload their ad inventory to the marketplace and enables advertisers to easily find high-quality print ad spaces from all across the world.

Chilli Hills opens flagship farm shop

The success of gourmet condiment brand Chilli Hills continues with the opening of a first branded shopfront in Sofia, Bulgaria.
 Launched by Sensible Answers East in 2015, the Balkan chilli brand led by its signature line of hot sauces was partially acquired by a minority share investment from global supplier Smart Organic in 2016.

Branded content meets destination marketing - Promote Iceland and WOW Air

Pleased to have been able to connect both the Icelandic tourist authority and national airline WoW air with the production company developing branded content on behalf of Red Bull Media House from which this series was created:

Skate Iceland Chapter 2
Featuring some of skateboarding's elite, Sam McGuire's cross-platform project again straddles the spheres of action sports edit, adventure tourism and destination marketing in a way which nobody else in the space does and to great effect for all stakeholders, as RBMH's viewership alone now dwarfs most of their competition in the taste-making action sports branded content milieu.

RadSeason: Simple Session 2018 In Review

As well as creating the most-viewed edit from a skate event again, breaking our previous record of 1.2M for CPH Open 2017 by topping 1.3M for Estonia's Simple Session, we also added value by reviewing the event for taste-making action sports travel and booking platform Radseason.com

1M+ view our content creation for Red Bull Media House

Connecting with the same team as we worked together with in Copenhagen and Prague to deliver social engagement during the live broadcast of the Skate and BMX finals of Simple Session 18 this weekend in Tallinn, Estonia.
You can see the highlight edit we oversaw and read about the contest above or by clicking this link.
We are confident this will be the largest digital footprint from the event by quite some order of magnitude, with Facebook views alone currently standing at 1,048,690 views and rising hourly.
